A Look Back: B&B Enterprises Featured in Popular Mechanics

At B&B Enterprises, we've been helping truck owners find quality OEM parts, wheels, tires, and seating solutions for decades. One of our favorite memories came in 2003 when B&B Enterprises was featured in Popular Mechanics magazine as part of their "Great Truck Makeover" project.

The project involved transforming a classic Chevrolet square-body pickup into a show-quality truck that combined modern comfort with timeless style. As the project came together, Popular Mechanics turned to Bill and Brian Gawron of B&B Enterprises in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, for help with one of the most important parts of any truck—the seat.

The magazine wrote:

"Bill and Brian Gawron of B & B Enterprises in Wilbraham, MA came up with a black leather 40/20/40 seat trimmed with orangey-red piping that fits the stock bench seat mounting holes of our truck. It's gorgeous and oh so comfortable."

The custom black leather 40/20/40 seat featured distinctive contrast piping and was designed to fit the factory mounting locations, preserving the truck's original functionality while dramatically improving comfort and appearance.

At the time, B&B Enterprises was already building a reputation for locating unique OEM and specialty truck parts. Being recognized in a nationally distributed automotive publication was a proud moment and a testament to the knowledge and dedication that have always been at the heart of our business.
